About Avails Energy
Avails Energy is a UK-based energy consultancy helping businesses take control of their energy costs. We work across procurement, compliance, and energy efficiency — and we're now expanding into the Netherlands. We're looking for driven, self-motivated sales professionals to help us build our presence in the Dutch business energy market.
The Role
As a Self-Employed Business Energy Sales Agent for the Netherlands, you'll be responsible for prospecting and signing up Dutch businesses onto gas and electricity contracts through our online platform. This is a pure sales role — you'll manage your own leads, build your own relationships, and close your own deals.
You'll be working independently, supported by our team in the UK, with access to our pricing platform and back-office support to help you quote, present, and convert.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospecting and contacting businesses across the Netherlands to discuss their energy needs
- Presenting and selling gas and electricity contracts to commercial clients
- Using the Avails Energy online platform to generate quotes and submit contracts
- Managing your own sales pipeline from first contact through to signed contract
- Building long-term relationships with clients and generating referrals
- Feeding back market intelligence to help us grow and develop our Netherlands proposition
- Representing Avails Energy professionally at all times
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in both Dutch and English — written and spoken, essential
- Proven experience in B2B sales — you know how to find prospects and close deals
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
- Confident using online platforms and digital tools
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in business energy sales (gas or electricity) is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of the Dutch commercial energy market is a plus
- Must be legally able to operate as a self-employed contractor in the Netherlands
