High Needs Team Leader - Reed Further Education
Reed Further Education is seeking an experienced High Needs Team Leader to support and lead provision for learners with EHCPs, SEND and Additional Learning Support needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional with leadership experience to make a significant impact on learner outcomes and inclusive practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team supporting learners with SEND and high needs.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation and review of EHCPs.
- Act as a key contact for parents, carers, curriculum teams and external agencies.
- Manage complex student cases and resolve escalated concerns.
- Monitor quality, compliance and service performance.
- Analyse data and produce reports to support service improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development.
- Promote inclusive practice and ensure learners receive appropriate support.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience supporting learners with EHCPs and SEND.
- Strong understanding of current SEND legislation and guidance.
- Experience working collaboratively with parents, local authorities and external agencies.
- Leadership and line management experience.
- Ability to use data to monitor performance and drive improvement.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance and resource management.
