Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of welcoming and well-established nursery settings across Leeds for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join their teams on a temporary-to-permanent basis. As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll support children's development through engaging activities, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to delivering high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework.

• Support children's learning and development through fun, engaging, and play-based activities
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate experiences that promote children's progress
• Create a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment
• Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning journeys
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive Early Years team

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
