Trainee Financial Adviser
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Exp & Quals)
Location: Leeds
NJR Recruitment are working in Partnership with a leading firm of Financial Planners who are now seeking ambitious and client-focused individuals to join their ‘Trainee Financial Adviser’ Academy. Working on an 18-week programme, the successful candidate will carry out structured classroom based and practical training whilst working towards the CII exams. Eventually, once qualified, the successful candidate will provide tailored advice across all areas of financial planning, helping individuals, families and business owners achieve their financial goals through expert guidance and exceptional service.

The Role
Once qualified, and as a Financial Adviser, the successful candidate work closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and create personalised financial plans that support both their immediate needs and long-term aspirations. You'll provide holistic advice across a broad range of financial planning areas while acting as a trusted adviser, working alongside other professional partners where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through the delivery of high-quality financial advice
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial circumstances, objectives and future goals
- Design and present tailored financial planning recommendations
- Advise across a wide range of financial planning solutions, including:
- Investments
- Retirement planning
- Estate and trust planning
- Intergenerational wealth planning
- Protection
- Mortgages and banking
- Cashflow forecasting
- Complete client risk profiling and attitude to risk assessments
- Review and adapt financial plans as clients' circumstances change
- Prospect for new clients and develop your client portfolio
- Liaise with accountants, solicitors, bankers and other professional contacts where appropriate
- Keep up to date with financial planning legislation, taxation and FCA regulations
- Ensure all advice is delivered in line with regulatory and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation throughout the advice process
