Role: Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
CRA Consulting is pleased to be working with a well-established, Legal 500 recognised law firm to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury Solicitor to join its growing team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a highly regarded claimant practice, handling a varied caseload of clinical negligence and personal injury matters ranging in complexity and value. The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
The role is primarily office-based during the initial onboarding period, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working arrangement once established in the position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a mixed caseload of claimant clinical negligence and personal injury matters from inception through to trial, with minimal supervision.
- Handling cases across a range of values and complexities, including multi-track claims.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues on high-value, complex litigation.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members and delegating work to paralegals where appropriate.
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on the Leeds and York regions.
- Achieving agreed billing and performance targets while maintaining excellent client service.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor status with between 1 and 10 years' PQE.
- Proven experience handling claimant clinical negligence and personal injury matters, including multi-track litigation.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- A strong track record of meeting billing and performance targets.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A collaborative approach with an interest in supporting junior colleagues and contributing to business development.
