Are you an experienced Panel Wirer looking for your next opportunity with a business that's genuinely investing in its future?

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business that is experiencing sustained growth due to continued success and an expanding order book. As a result, they are looking to add a skilled Panel Wirer to their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with an outstanding reputation for quality, where you'll be working on bespoke electrical control panels in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. The business values its employees, offers long-term job security, and provides genuine opportunities for career development.

As a Panel Wirer, you'll be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring every panel is assembled to the highest quality standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
  • Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from start to finish.
  • Installing and terminating cables, relays, contactors, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Carrying out point-to-point wiring.
  • Testing completed panels and assisting with fault finding where required.
  • Working closely with the production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembly Technician.
  • The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics (essential).
  • Experience wiring industrial control panels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
