Head of Change - #2108475

A Leeds based market leader operating in a regulated industry seeking a Head of Change to lead its enterprise-wide portfolio of business and technology change initiatives.

This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's change agenda whilst ensuring investment in projects and transformation activity delivers measurable business outcomes. Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide strategic direction across a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects, leading an established team and driving the continuous evolution of project delivery, governance and change capability.

The Opportunity:

As Head of Projects & Change, you will take ownership of the organisation's portfolio management and change function, ensuring projects are prioritised, governed and delivered effectively.

You will work closely with executive stakeholders to align transformation activity with strategic objectives, balancing competing priorities whilst maintaining strong governance and oversight across the portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how change is delivered across the organisation and play a key role in its next phase of growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing Projects & Change function.
• Own and manage the enterprise change portfolio.
• Drive project governance, portfolio oversight and delivery assurance.
• Work with senior stakeholders to shape strategic priorities and investment decisions.
• Ensure robust benefits realisation and value delivery from change initiatives.
• Lead the successful delivery of both business and technology transformation programmes.
• Develop and enhance project delivery frameworks, processes and controls.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation to promote effective change adoption.

About You:

We're looking for an experienced change, transformation or portfolio leader with a track record of delivering large-scale strategic initiatives within complex environments. You'll be able to demonstrate:

• Significant experience leading enterprise change, transformation, PMO or portfolio functions.
• Proven success managing complex portfolios and competing priorities.
• Experience building, developing or maturing project, PMO or transformation capabilities.
• Very strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing executive and board-level audiences.
• Excellent understanding of governance, risk management and benefits realisation.
• Experience delivering both business and technology change.
• A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
• Experience within a regulated environment.

Desirable Experience

• Financial services or professional services sector experience.
• Exposure to governance and regulatory frameworks.
