Hybrid Business Development Manager - #2109307

Our client, a high-growth IT solutions provider, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business while nurturing and expanding existing accounts across the Northwest and Yorkshire. This is a hybrid role combining field sales, client meetings, and remote working.

You’ll be selling a broad portfolio of IT hardware, software, and technical solutions into a mix of NHS, Government, Education, and wider Public Sector clients.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Generate new business across the region through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic targeting.
• Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat revenue.
• Present and sell a wide range of IT hardware and software solutions.
• Navigate public sector procurement processes, including tenders, bids, and frameworks.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting activity.

As a successful candidate you will have proven track record in IT sales, ideally hardware/software and experience selling into NHS, Government, Education, or Public Sector environments could be advantageous. A strong understanding of tenders, bids, and procurement frameworks, confidence in communicating and a consultative, solution-led approach together with the ability to balance new business generation with effective account management.

This is a field-based role and a Full UK driving licence is essential.

In return the company offers a competitive salary, £40,000–£55,000 basic with an OTE £75,000 + and Car allowance, 25 days holiday, increasing to 29 days with length of service, the flexibility of Hybrid working and clear progression opportunities within an established, growing organisation.
