Description
The Corporate Legal Director will be:
- Working on complex corporate transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate reorganisations and public takeovers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad portfolio of clients.
- Taking responsibility for managing matters efficiently while delivering exceptional client service.
- Mentoring junior members of the corporate team.
- Working with partners on business development initiatives and networking activities.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm on multidisciplinary matters.
- Playing a key role in the continued success and growth of the corporate practice
Profile
The Corporate Legal Director should be:
- A solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in corporate law.
- Experienced in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate reorganisations.
- Managing complex, high value transactions with minimal supervision.
- An accomplished relationship builder with excellent client management skills.
- Experienced in supervising and developing junior lawyers.
- Commercially minded with strong business development experience.
- An excellent communicator with outstanding drafting and negotiation skills.
- Looking to progress within a large, highly respected corporate team.
Job Offer
- Salary: £100,000 to £115,000 plus bonus
- 26 days of holiday leave.
- 5% pension contribution.
