Employment Solicitor (Associate) - #2112293

My client is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (Associate) to join their growing employment team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a mix of office and home working following completion of probation.

The successful candidate will work closely with a partner, managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, while also supporting the corporate and commercial team on employment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage executive exit and settlement agreement matters.

• Handle claimant employment tribunal litigation from instruction through to conclusion.

• Advise clients on a range of employment law matters.

• Assist the Corporate and Commercial team with employment aspects of corporate transactions.

• Prepare legal documentation, correspondence and tribunal paperwork.

• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with tribunal procedures.

• Deliver excellent client care and maintain strong client relationships.

• Explain complex legal issues clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE in Employment Law.

• Strong knowledge of the Employment Tribunal process.

• Experience handling claimant employment litigation.

• Respondent employment litigation experience would be advantageous.

• Experience advising employers on non-contentious employment matters is desirable.

• Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.

• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service.
