We are recruiting a Behaviour Buddy to join the supportive team, helping pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural and learning support to achieve their full potential.

About the School

- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

- Attachment and trauma-related needs
- Children requiring additional emotional regulation and behaviour support
The school promotes positive relationships, restorative approaches and personalised support, ensuring pupils receive the guidance they need both inside and outside the classroom.
Your Role
As a Behaviour Buddy, you'll work closely with teachers and the SEND team to provide tailored support that enables pupils to engage successfully with learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
- Helping children regulate their emotions using positive behaviour strategies
- Building trusting relationships with pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence in the classroom
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
- Helping pupils develop social skills, resilience and positive friendships
- Working alongside teachers, SEND staff and external professionals
- Providing regular feedback on pupil progress and wellbeing

Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, attachment needs or challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
