An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join the highly regarded Employment team of an award-winning national law firm in Leeds, ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established employment lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a leading national practice. You'll advise an impressive and diverse client base across a broad range of sectors, managing your own caseload while also working as part of client teams on major projects and complex matters.
The Role
Working as part of an established and successful Employment team, you will advise a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

- Managing your own varied caseload of employment matters.
- Advising clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
- Working as part of client teams on major projects and complex matters.
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice to clients and key stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Contributing to the Employment team's business development and marketing initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver an excellent client service.
- Developing your sector expertise through exposure to a diverse and interesting client base.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from experienced Employment Solicitors who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE gained within a commercial law firm.
- Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- A proven track record of advising commercial clients across a range of sectors.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent commercial judgement.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A well-organised, logical and proactive approach to your work.
- The confidence and experience to take responsibility for matters and provide trusted advice to clients.
- An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
