Finance Analyst - #2121271

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with an established and successful business in East Leeds to recruit a Finance Analyst into their finance function.

This is a newly created role offering excellent exposure across finance, operations and commercial teams. You'll play a key role in turning financial and operational data into meaningful insight, supporting senior stakeholders with informed decision-making and business performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing and analysing financial reporting, KPIs and management information
• Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Translating large datasets into clear, commercially relevant insight
• Developing reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Supporting asset performance and capex analysis
• Partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects

You'll ideally have:

• Experience within an industry finance environment
• Strong financial reporting, KPI and variance analysis experience
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A curious, commercially minded approach with excellent attention to detail
• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Experience within a service-led or asset-intensive business would be advantageous.
