Accounts Assistant Manager - #2121272

We’re working with a well-established, growing independent accountancy practice in Leeds. Not PE-driven. Not obsessed with chargeable hours for the sake of it. Just a commercially sharp, people-first firm with a strong client base across Yorkshire.

As an Accounts Assistant manager you’ll manage your own portfolio while supporting junior staff and reporting into an approachable Partner team.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of SME clients
• Reviewing statutory accounts (FRS 102 / 102 1A)
• Corporation tax compliance
• Supervising and mentoring trainees and Seniors
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients
• Supporting Managers and Partners on advisory projects

It’s a genuine step into leadership without being thrown in at the deep end.

What They’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or very close to qualifying)
• Solid background in UK accountancy practice
• Experience reviewing work and managing client relationships
• Confident communicator who enjoys developing others
