Your new role
As a Senior Environmental Noise Consultant, you will lead and deliver a broad range of environmental noise, vibration and acoustics projects from proposal stage through to completion. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert technical advice, manage client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy's acoustics offering.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering environmental noise, vibration and building acoustics assessments.
- Undertaking site surveys and analysing acoustic data using industry-standard software and equipment.
- Producing high-quality technical reports and developing practical mitigation solutions.
- Managing project budgets, programmes and resource allocation.
- Leading complex projects and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Supporting business development through proposal and tender preparation.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Providing technical mentoring and support to junior team members.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Audio Technology or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in environmental noise and vibration consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK legislation, policy and best practice guidance relating to acoustics.
- Excellent technical report writing and project management skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing client relationships.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or a desire to work towards membership) would be beneficial.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
