An established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing Leeds team.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded tax professional who wants to work beyond traditional compliance and become a key adviser to clients.
You'll manage a varied portfolio while gaining exposure to advisory projects, transactions and tax planning, with the autonomy to build strong client relationships and develop your career.

You'll have responsibility for a portfolio of corporate clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day adviser and supporting them across a range of tax matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Overseeing the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns.
• Providing practical corporate tax advice to clients.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Advising on business acquisitions, disposals and restructuring.
• Supporting group reorganisations and changes to ownership structures.
• Working with clients on their wider commercial and tax objectives.
• Building strong relationships with owners, directors and senior stakeholders.
• Working collaboratively with accounts, audit and wider advisory teams.
• Reviewing work and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of the tax team.
• Supporting the growth of existing client relationships.
• Getting involved in networking and business development where appropriate.

You'll work with a diverse portfolio of businesses, including:
Owner-Managed Businesses | SMEs | Entrepreneurs | Private Groups | Growing Corporate Businesses
The focus is on developing long-term relationships and providing advice that genuinely helps clients make better commercial decisions.

We're interested in speaking with professionals who have:

• Strong corporate tax experience gained within UK accountancy practice.
• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Strong corporation tax technical knowledge.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• An interest in advisory and commercially focused tax work.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
• A desire to develop both technically and commercially.
