Family Secretary Vacancy
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Family Secretary to join a growing legal practice. The role can be based at any of the firm's offices, although an initial two-week training period may be required at a designated office.
Key Responsibilities

• Providing typing and secretarial support to fee earners within a busy, fast-paced team
• Setting up new appointments
• Answering telephone calls and communicating with clients and solicitors
• Participating in team meetings and suggesting ways to improve administrative efficiency
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of precedents
• Working with the firm's case management system
• Liaising and collaborating with other members of the administration team

Person Specification
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

• A high degree of autonomy and self-organisation
• The ability to use initiative and work proactively
• Previous experience working within a Family Law department at a firm of solicitors, or other relevant comparable experience
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• Good typing skills and experience using digital dictation
• A highly motivated approach to work
• Strong organisational skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• The ability to prioritise and manage workloads across multiple fee earners
