Mechanical Project Manager - #2126220

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major commercial scheme.

You will take overall responsibility for the mechanical package, working closely with the client, consultants, main contractor and wider project team to ensure the works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Mechanical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical package from procurement through to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Manage programme, progress and project delivery against agreed milestones.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information, identifying issues and coordinating solutions.
• Work closely with the commercial team to manage costs, variations and financial performance.
• Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, quality and contractual requirements.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the commercial construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and M&E construction.
• Experience managing mechanical packages on medium to large commercial schemes.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong understanding of programme, quality and commercial management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
• Relevant mechanical/building services qualifications or equivalent experience.
