Assembly / Warehouse Operative - #2126914

Novara People are currently recruiting for a Production / Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds.

Our client designs and manufactures commercial lighting products which are supplied into a range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and industrial environments.

This is a hands-on assembly position where you'll be working with different components to build and wire lighting products. You'll need to be comfortable following instructions and diagrams and working accurately.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Duties
Assembling lighting products and components
Wiring products by following diagrams and instructions
Fitting electrical and mechanical components
Using hand tools during the assembly process
Following build instructions accurately
Checking completed products for quality
Identifying any faults or issues during assembly
Working efficiently to meet production requirements
Keeping your workstation clean and organised
Working alongside the wider production team
Following all health & safety procedures

Skills:

Previous assembly or production experience would be beneficial
Experience with electrical assembly or wiring would be an advantage
Able to follow diagrams and written instructions
Comfortable using basic hand tools
Good attention to detail
Able to carry out repetitive, detailed work accurately
Reliable and punctual
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
