This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team delivering a diverse range of projects for private and public-sector clients, with plenty of scope to develop your technical skills and progress your career.
The Opportunity
You will be involved in a broad range of development-related transport planning projects, working alongside experienced transport planners, engineers, planners, architects and other technical professionals.

You will receive day-to-day support and mentoring from experienced transport planning professionals, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for someone keen to broaden their experience and build a long-term career in the sector.
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates at different stages of their transport planning career.
You could be:
An Assistant Transport Planner looking for a role where you can develop your technical knowledge, gain exposure to a variety of projects and learn from experienced professionals.
Or you may already be a Transport Planner with some UK consultancy experience who is ready for greater responsibility and a broader project portfolio.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, TRICS, TEMPro, Junctions, LinSig or TRANSYT would be advantageous, although training and development will be provided.
Membership of, or progress towards membership of, CIHT, CILT, TPP or ICE would also be beneficial.
Previous UK transport planning experience is desirable, but the role could also suit a graduate or early-career candidate with the right academic background and attitude.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This isn't simply a role where you'll spend your time producing reports and analysing spreadsheets. You'll have the opportunity to get out on site, understand how transport networks operate in the real world and see your technical work contribute to the development of communities and infrastructure.
You'll also benefit from:
The Ideal Candidate
We're particularly interested in people who are curious, analytical and motivated to develop.
