Eden Brown are seeking an organised and professional Administrative Assistant to support a well-established Further Education College in West Yorkshire.

This is a full time temporary role to start asap for 4 weeks initially

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and is passionate about supporting students, staff, and wider college operations.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide efficient administrative support across the college, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will work closely with curriculum teams, student services, and senior staff to deliver a high standard of customer service and administrative support.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing general administrative support to departments and staff
- Managing emails, correspondence, and telephone enquiries
- Maintaining accurate student and staff records
- Processing documentation and data entry tasks
- Arranging meetings, taking minutes, and preparing reports
- Supporting enrolment, admissions, and student administration processes
- Updating internal databases and management information systems
- Assisting with filing, document management, and record keeping
- Providing a professional front-of-house service when required
- Supporting compliance and quality assurance activities

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working within an educational environment would be advantageous but is not essential
