Workshop Engineer 

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Additional Benefits: Two annual bonuses, subject to company performance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join our client’s team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong manufacturing background who is confident working with engineering drawings and carrying out machine welding, MIG welding, assembly and general workshop duties.

The Role – Duties & Responsibilities

• Machine and MIG welding
• Assembly of finished goods
• Drilling and use of hand presses
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out general workshop duties
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment

Essential Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a high-precision manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a Workshop Engineer 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting on a daily basis
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

Salary & Benefits
