Solar PV Installer

Location: UK Wide – Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Travel / Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters / Solar PV Installers to join commercial Solar PV installation teams working across the UK.

You will work alongside Lead Fitters installing the mechanical elements of photovoltaic systems.

Responsibilities

Assemble Solar PV mounting systems
Install rails, brackets and associated equipment
Work on commercial rooftop and ground-mounted systems
Follow drawings and installation specifications
Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
Support snagging and rectification works
Work safely at height and in accordance with RAMS

Requirements

Solar PV installation experience
Mechanical fitting / installation experience
Roofing, steelwork or construction background beneficial
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Good H&S awareness
CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence & Own vehicle
Happy to travel and stay away nationwide

Working at Height qualifications are advantageous.
