My client is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor looking to work across a diverse range of projects while developing their career within a well-established and expanding consultancy.

The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering a mixture of professional and project-led Building Surveying services across a varied client base.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking building surveys, inspections and defect diagnosis.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications and schedules of work.
• Delivering contract administration services on refurbishment and repair projects.
• Carrying out condition surveys and planned preventative maintenance assessments.
• Managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Providing professional advice to clients on property-related matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.

About You

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership.
• Experience within a consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of both professional building surveying services and project work.
• Good understanding of JCT contracts.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with excellent client-facing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
