Veritas Education is currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners for welcoming nursery settings across the LS6 and LS7 areas of Leeds.

We're looking for both qualified and unqualified practitioners. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred, but if you're unqualified and have previous experience working with children, we'd still love to hear from you.

Whether you're looking for a few days a week, regular shifts or more hours, there are flexible opportunities available to suit your availability.

What you'll be doing:

* Supporting children's learning and development through play and engaging activities
* Creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment
* Supporting children's daily routines and wellbeing
* Building positive relationships with children and the wider nursery team
* Encouraging confidence, independence and curiosity
* Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners
* Following EYFS and safeguarding procedures

We're looking for:

* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
* Unqualified candidates with experience working with children are welcome
* Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable
* A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children
