Vacuum Forming Operator

Location: Leeds 9
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:45pm – 3:45am
Hours: 46 hours per week
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
Contract: 3-month temporary-to-permanent opportunity
Training: Full training provided

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Vacuum Forming Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in Leeds 9.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within manufacturing, as full training will be provided. No previous vacuum forming experience is required, although previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage.

Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for operating vacuum forming machinery and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operating vacuum forming machinery safely and efficiently, following production instructions and specifications. Preparing materials and components for production and monitoring the forming process to ensure products meet the required standards.

You will carry out basic quality checks, identify any defects or issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor. The role will also involve trimming and finishing products, maintaining a clean and organised working area, and following all company health and safety procedures.

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
