Fire Risk Assessor - #2138258

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team, covering sites across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional looking for a varied role, carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across a wide range of commercial and public-sector premises.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), identifying hazards and assessing risk in line with current legislation and industry best practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of premises and sectors
• Identifying fire hazards, risks and potential areas of non-compliance
• Producing clear, accurate and detailed FRA reports
• Providing practical recommendations and advice to clients
• Assessing existing fire safety measures and procedures
• Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
• Ensuring assessments are completed to a consistently high standard
• Managing your workload and diary effectively while travelling between sites

We are looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor who can work independently and confidently when dealing with clients and a variety of different premises.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments
• A Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, regulations and guidance
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• The ability to identify risks and provide practical recommendations
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Yorkshire

• Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications
