Elevation Recruitment Group's Shop Floor Division is currently recruiting for a Harvesting Technician on behalf of an innovative medical manufacturer based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Harvesting Technician to join a growing organisation that plays a vital role in supplying high-quality medical products.

Job Title: Harvesting Technician
Location: Leeds
Hours: Days or Afters Shift Available
Salary: £27,360 per annum + Shift Allowance for Afters

The Role

Key responsibilities of the Harvesting Technician include:

• Harvesting fresh tissue at approved abattoirs in accordance with approved work instructions and site processes.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and secure working environment at both the abattoir and company facility.
• Supporting and contributing ideas for research and development activities to improve harvesting processes.
• Following best practices for material handling to ensure the safe movement and storage of materials.
• Accurately completing production records and supporting documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with all quality, health and safety, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this Harvesting Technician position, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a meat processing, abattoir, food production, or similar environment.
• The ability to work independently and confidently at off-site locations.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
