The Role

As Toddler Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a busy toddler room, ensuring children receive outstanding care and education within a nurturing and stimulating environment.

You will lead by example, support colleagues, build strong relationships with families, and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and Early Years practice are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operation of the toddler room
• Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences
• Support children's social, emotional and educational development
• Complete observations, assessments and development records
• Build positive partnerships with parents and carers
• Support and mentor Early Years practitioners within the room
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, welfare and health and safety
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Early Years provision

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Current experience working within an Early Years setting
• Previous Room Leader experience or experience in a senior Early Years role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Full UK residency
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
