If you like being the person who keeps things organised, spots when something isn't quite right and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks, this could be a great next move.

It's a busy Purchase Ledger role where accuracy matters, but so do relationships. You'll be dealing with suppliers, working closely with teams across the business and making sure invoices and payments keep moving in the right direction.

So, if you enjoy having plenty to get stuck into and take satisfaction from keeping a purchase ledger running smoothly, you'll probably feel right at home here.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for:

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices and accurately matching them against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Chasing invoice approvals and ensuring the correct authorisation processes are followed
  • Keeping records accurate and making sure all supporting documentation is in place
  • Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to supplier and internal queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements and requesting missing invoices or documentation
  • Investigating discrepancies and resolving supplier queries, escalating where necessary
  • Working closely with procurement, operations and finance to help keep payments on track

There'll be plenty going on, so you'll need to be comfortable prioritising your workload and knowing what needs your attention first.

What are they looking for?

You'll already have Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience and be confident working in a busy finance environment.

You'll also have:

  • Experience processing high volumes of invoices accurately
  • A good understanding of two-way and three-way invoice matching
  • Experience using Sage 200 or a similar finance system
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and consistently meet deadlines
  • Confidence communicating with suppliers and colleagues across the business
  • A collaborative attitude and a willingness to get stuck in when the team needs an extra pair of hands

They're looking for someone dependable who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving problems and can be relied upon to keep things moving.

What's in it for you?

  • Salary of up to £28k
  • 28 days' annual leave
  • Free on-site gym
  • Opportunities to progress your career
