We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare professional who is ready to take on a leadership role and help create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the team and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding care and learning experiences for every child.
About the role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:
- Support the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Lead, motivate and support a dedicated team of practitioners.
- Help maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and education.
- Support staff development, supervision and performance.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Help ensure the nursery meets all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to planning and delivering an engaging early years curriculum.
- Step into the Nursery Manager's role when required.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within an early years or nursery setting.
- A confident and inspiring team leader.
- Passionate about children's development and wellbeing.
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and the EYFS.
- Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
- A positive role model who leads by example.
- Warm, approachable and committed to building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare.
