Senior Account Executive

Package of £28,00 to £32,000 (depending on skills and experience)

If you love digital marketing but believe in response over vanity metrics and are done with traditional agency life, then keep reading....

Leeds-List believes in creating better digital experiences that inspire people to act. It's a simple ambition, but it drives everything we do. We make content that people want to read and campaigns that helps our brand partners find new customers without the need for annoying ads or privacy-invading methods.

We are digital agency and media platform without the agency politics. Because the media channels are ours, we own the audience, and our data science means we intelligently create content and campaigns that make our readers want to take action.

We work with our clients to understand their needs and we use our audience insights to lead their strategy on our platforms. The result? Readers see campaigns that are relevant and they want to read. And clients see amazing results, just see for yourself...

  • 22% conversion for CityFibre,
  • 4.4% conversion rate for LNER
  • An industry-beating average time-on-page of 02:26
  • And, an almost unbelievable bounce rate of just 5.9%

We’re an ambitious but small, tight-knit team who all muck in and share in our success. Everyone has a voice, everyone is expected to add value.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for fantastic account executives to build up our client services team after a bunch of new business wins.

This role handles delivery and onboarding after a client win, managing the campaign from inception, discovery, asset collection through to evaluation and rebooking.

You'll need to know all the stages required to deliver a great digital content campaign and stay true to our values of delivering something excellent, every time.

We’re looking for those who will create a seamless client experience, who will dig deeper and push harder to make sure the campaign delivers the best possible results.

It’s not easy, it takes charm, wit and wicked organisational skills, but it’s a lot of fun, especially if you like a fast paced environment and like to think around corners.

You’ll need to be a people person. Someone who can manage stakeholders at every level, building their trust and possessing the confidence to present ideas and push back on amends.

Whether you’re coming from an account handling role in an agency or from a client-side position, you’ll use the skills you’ve developed to take responsibility for the success of campaigns and the happiness of our client partners.

Digital experience is essential, including analytics and measurement to thoroughly grasp every stage of a digital campaign.

What we need:

  • We’re looking for someone who’s super organised and can keep multiple campaigns and clients running (and can demonstrate how they're organised beyond a massive to-do list)
  • You’ll need to know all the stages of delivering marketing/advertising campaigns
  • You'll need to know what to measure to understand whether a campaign is delivering value to the client, whether we have the data or need a third party
  • We need at least 18 months previous work experience in campaign delivery, delivering marketing, advertising or digital campaigns from inception through to evaluation - and evidence thereof

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing multi-channel digital campaigns from start to finish
  • Speaking to clients regularly -  in person, on the phone or over video call
  • Regularly communicating with clients and stakeholders by email, phone and through meetings
  • Ensuring frequent contact with clients to keep campaigns on track
  • Keeping clients happy and campaigns on schedule
  • Working with our business development team to onboard clients
  • Clearly communicating with clients so they always feel valued
  • Creating project plans, managing deadlines and handling resources
  • Gathering info, assets and insight for client campaigns
  • Creating briefs for our studio team to produce campaigns
  • Analysing campaign performance and identifying improvements
  • Having an eye on industry trends and benchmarks so you know how we compare
  • Retaining and rebooking clients by providing fantastic customer service

What’s on offer:

  • Package of £28,00 to £32,000 (depending on skills and experience)
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Based at our fantastic City Centre offices
  • Office first with flexible working after probationary period
  • 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays and your birthday
  • Apple MacBook Pro
