The role:

Campbell Grove Talent are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys being close to the numbers but also wants to understand the bigger picture, to join an SME based at Thorpe Park in Leeds

You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and be a real safe pair of hands across the finance function.

It’s broad, practical and varied and importantly, your ideas will be listened to.

You’ll be involved in:

• Monthly management accounts
• AP, AR, credit control and supplier payments
• Bank and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Cash-flow forecasting
• Investigating variances and solving problems
• Year-end and supporting external accountants
• Improving processes and making finance more efficient
• Working with the wider business to understand what’s really driving the numbers

Who are we looking for?

This isn't necessarily about having the right qualification on your CV.

You might be qualified, part-qualified or have built your career through strong practical accounting experience.

What matters more is that you're someone who:

• Likes getting stuck into the detail
• Takes ownership
• Spots when something doesn't look right
• Wants to understand the why, not just the numbers
• Is comfortable working independently
• Wants to work closely with a Finance Director and genuinely add value
