Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects through the relevant RIBA work stages
  • Develop design proposals from concept through to detailed design and construction
  • Produce and oversee planning submissions, technical drawings, specifications and construction information
  • Coordinate internal project teams alongside external consultants, contractors and specialist advisers
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and other key project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, budgets and quality to support successful project outcomes
  • Ensure designs and technical information comply with UK Building Regulations, planning policy and relevant legislation
  • Support and mentor Part I, Part II and junior architectural staff where appropriate
  • Contribute to fee proposals, bids, tenders, presentations and new business opportunities
  • Attend design reviews, client meetings, site visits and project meetings as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • ARB-registered Architect with relevant post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice

  • Strong technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations, planning processes and construction detailing
  • Confident working with Revit and familiar with BIM workflows and project coordination
  • Experience using NBS specification software would be an advantage
  • Strong architectural design, technical and project management capabilities
  • Experience coordinating consultants and taking responsibility for project delivery
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with clients and project stakeholders
