Finance Analyst | Hybrid Working | Study Support

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in the office per week

I’m working with a well-established business that is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their finance team. This is a broad commercial role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, analyse business performance and provide financial insight to support key decisions.

This Finance Analyst role would suit someone who enjoys working with data but also wants to understand the bigger picture and have a genuine impact on business performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing financial and operational performance analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning
• Analysing revenue, profitability and commercial performance
• Producing management information and reports for key stakeholders
• Supporting pricing reviews, contract negotiations and tenders
• Managing and calculating sales commission schemes
• Building financial models to assess commercial opportunities
• Working closely with Sales, Operations and senior stakeholders
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
• Improving financial reporting, processes and controls

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for an analytical and commercially minded Finance Analyst who can work confidently with financial data and communicate their findings clearly to people outside of finance.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Management Accounts role
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive approach to improving processes and reporting
• A genuine interest in developing within commercial finance
• Be studying towards ACCA / CIMA
