Description
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant:
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping reviews
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting queries
- Supporting cloud accounting solutions including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Assisting managers and partners with portfolio management
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
Profile
Essential Requirements for a Senior Accountant:
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified as a minimum
- Previous experience in an Accounts Senior, Semi-Senior or equivalent practice role
- Experience preparing year-end accounts for a range of business entities
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
Job Offer
- Salary between £36,000 and £45,000, dependent on the level of experience
