Head of Operations

We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Operations to join a growing organisation specialising in Facilities Management, PFI and estates services.

You'll lead operational delivery across multiple service areas, managing teams, contract performance and commercial delivery, while helping to develop and grow the organisation's FM and digital estates offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop operational teams across multiple service areas
• Oversee Facilities Management and PFI service delivery
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance, supply chain and supplier performance
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, compliance and overall contract performance
• Manage budgets, margins, resourcing and operational performance
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Drive improvements in processes, systems and ways of working
• Support business growth and the development of new FM and estates services
• Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and compliance

Candidate Requirements

• Proven Operational leadership experience within Facilities Management, with strong PFI and/or public sector estates experience 
• Strong people management experience, including developing and supporting teams
• Experience overseeing multiple contracts or service areas
• Good commercial understanding, including budgets, margins and financial performance
• Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs and operational performance
• Confident managing senior client and stakeholder relationships
• A strong understanding of operational processes and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and PPM
