Our client is a well-established property maintenance and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across residential and commercial properties. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative with a strong background in Painting & Decorating to join their expanding team.



Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative, your primary trade will be Painting & Decorating, while also carrying out a range of general maintenance and repair work as required.Key responsibilities will include:

• Internal and external painting and decorating works
• Surface preparation, filling, sanding, and finishing
• Wallpaper removal and redecoration
• Basic repairs including carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, and other multi-trade tasks
• Responsive and planned maintenance works
• Working across occupied and void properties
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst on site
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within a maintenance environment
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience across additional trades
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
