Your new role:Hays Construction & Property is working in partnership with a leading property maintenance business in the Leeds region who are looking for a Maintenance Operative on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded maintenance company who specifically work on build-to-rent schemes across Leeds and the surrounding region.As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for providing effective repairs and maintenance service across blocks of apartments. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance and safety of the building.Your duties will include:General property repairs, painting and decorating, basic plumbing, joinery works, communal area maintenance, void property preparation, and supporting property compliance and safety programmes
What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience in property maintenance, building maintenance or similar.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, joinery, electrical work and general building repairs.
• Experience working within high-rise buildings is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and with the Facilities Manager
