Pupil Support Assistant - Primary School - Leeds - #2148627

Veritas Education are looking for SENDPupil Support Assistants to work across Primary schools in Leeds & West Yorkshire

This is a varied role supporting children both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.

You may work with individual pupils, small groups or support within the classroom depending on the needs of the school.

• Supporting children with classroom activities
• Providing 1:1 pupil support
• Helping with literacy and numeracy
• Supporting pupils with SEND
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Helping children develop independence
• Supporting social and emotional development
• Working closely with teachers and support staff

Previous experience working with children is ideal, whether that has been in a school, nursery, youth setting, care environment or similar role.

We're looking for people who are reliable, approachable and happy to get involved in all areas of school life.
