Management Accountant – PQ CIMA | Leeds | Permanent | Full-time | On Site

£40,000 to £45,000 + benefits

I’m currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an established business based in Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified CIMA accountant looking to develop their technical and commercial accounting experience, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Management reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting audit and year-end requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls

 

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Part CIMA qualified and actively studying towards full qualification
• Experienced as a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar
• Confident preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong with Excel and financial analysis
• Accurate, organised and able to meet deadlines
• Keen to develop their career and take on greater responsibility

 

The role offers excellent development opportunities, with the potential to progress towards a fully qualified Senior Level position.
