Estimator - #2148935

Apex Resources Limited are on the lookout for an Estimator for a permanent position in and around the west Yorkshire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, reviewing project requirements, and supporting the business in securing new work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and quotations from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Review project scopes, identify risks, and ensure all costs are fully considered.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to clarify requirements.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and pricing databases.
• Assist with tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
• Work to deadlines while ensuring a high level of accuracy.

About You:

• Previous experience in an estimating role within the relevant construction/engineering industry.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software.
• Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Rate/Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience and tickets
