Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

£26,500 per annum, plus benefits

Full Time, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm whilst training, once trained, 8am to 4pm

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based client to recruit a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our client has been based in Leeds for more than 50 years and are looking for someone to work as part of the team in their established warehouse bases on Cross Green Industrial Estate.

The ability to drive a Reach and Counterbalance forklift truck is essential.

Role responsibilities:

• Picking, packing and preparing goods for export
• Checking received goods into the warehouse
• Printing pick notes and delivery notes
• Showing strong attention to detail skills as all products are batch coded and must be picked and checked against an order sheet
• General warehouse office duties
• Working to strict health and safety guidelines (full training will be given)

FLT responsibilities:

• Narrow aisle racking system
• Loading and unloading vehicles in the yard.

You will need:

• The ability to drive a Reach and Counterbalance forklift truck is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
• The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
• A willingness to learn and undertake any additional training relevant to the role
• A welcoming manner as you will meet customers who visit the site regularly
• Full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.

You will receive a full company induction as well as on the job training.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. During training, the working hours will be 6am to 2pm. Once trained, the working hours will be 8am to 4pm.
