In this Audit Semi Senior role, you'll support the delivery of high-quality audit engagements by completing testing, preparing financial statements, and assisting with planning and completion work. Description

• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a range of clients across different sectors
• Perform audit testing across financial statement areas and document audit evidence to a high standard
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP
• Support the team in identifying audit risks and recommending improvements
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Work collaboratively with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely completion of assignments

Profile

A successful Audit Semi Senior should have:

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA
• Previous experience working in external audit within a UK accountancy firm
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility
