As an Audit Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing audit engagements and ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish. Your work will support clients and the wider Audit team by delivering accurate and timely financial insights.

Description

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:

• Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing audit files and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout engagements.
• Supporting Managers and Partners with portfolio management and client service delivery.
• Supervising, mentoring, and developing Audit Seniors and junior team members.
• Assisting with budgeting, job scheduling, and resource planning.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.
• Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.

Profile

A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £42,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
