Corporate Tax Manager | Leeds / Hybrid | £60,000-£75,000 DOE + benefits

I'm currently working with a well-established professional services firm that is continuing to grow its Corporate Tax team in Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager who enjoys a mix of compliance and advisory work and wants genuine ownership of their clients, team and career development.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of Corporate Tax compliance, tax accounting and advisory work. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams, while also having the opportunity to get involved in business development and contribute to the continued growth of the wider Tax function.

Day to Day

• Manage a varied portfolio across Corporate Tax compliance, tax accounting and advisory
• Take ownership of assignments from planning through to delivery, including budgets and timescales
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact
• Provide technical advice and practical solutions on more complex tax matters
• Review and develop junior team members, with line management and mentoring responsibility
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, systems and technology
• Get involved in business development, networking and developing new client opportunities
• Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to deliver a joined-up service
• Identify efficiencies and support the implementation of improvements across the Tax function

What They're Looking For

• ACA/CA, CTA, ATT or equivalent level of tax knowledge
• Strong Corporate Tax compliance experience
• Previous experience managing or mentoring junior team members
• Good technical knowledge with the ability to communicate advice clearly to clients
• Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• AlphaTax experience would be advantageous
