Project Manager Construction Consultancy - #2154065

A highly regarded construction consultancy in Leeds is looking to appoint an ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to work across a range of private sector projects. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative team with strong client relationships and excellent opportunities for long-term progression.

The Project Manager will support the delivery of projects from the early design and planning stages through procurement, construction and completion. They are looking for a Project Manager who is confident working with clients, consultants and contractors and is ready to take greater ownership of project delivery. This position would suit a Project Manager looking to broaden their experience and progress towards Senior Project Manager level.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager will work alongside senior colleagues while taking responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of their own projects.

Responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring project programmes, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, supporting procurement, managing risk, chairing meetings, producing project reports and maintaining clear communication between clients, consultants and contractors.

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the full project lifecycle while working with experienced Project Management professionals.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
• Experience supporting or managing construction projects from inception to completion
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Experience coordinating consultants and contractors
• Good understanding of project programmes, procurement and risk management
• A relevant construction, property or Project Management degree
• Ideally working towards MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or another recognised professional qualification
• A proactive approach and ambition to progress within consultancy Project Management
