Description

The In House Litigation Solicitor will be:

* Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims

* Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements

* Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service

* Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation

* Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing

Profile

The In House Litigation Solicitor should be:

* A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights

* Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules

* Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision

* Commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels

* Interested in legal technology, process improvement and modern ways of working

Job Offer

• Competitive salary between £50,000 and £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
