Role Purpose

The Head of Technology Transformation will lead the organisation’s technology-enabled transformation agenda, ensuring technology, data and digital capabilities deliver measurable improvements in operational performance, customer experience and commercial outcomes.

Working closely with the IT Director and Executive Leadership Team, the role will develop and deliver a transformation roadmap covering Dynamics 365, data, automation, digital platforms and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a technology transformation roadmap aligned to wider business objectives.
• Lead major technology-enabled transformation programmes from strategy and business case through implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
• Lead the transformation and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring successful implementation, integration and business adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, operating models and customer journeys through technology, automation, data and AI.
• Establish effective transformation governance, prioritisation, risk management and benefits tracking.
• Work closely with technology, operations, finance and commercial leaders to ensure transformation delivers measurable business value.
• Develop business cases and manage transformation investment, ensuring clear return on investment.
• Lead organisational change and adoption to ensure new technology and processes become embedded across the organisation.
• Manage strategic technology and implementation partners, ensuring strong delivery and commercial accountability.
• Build strong internal transformation capability and develop high-performing teams.

Measurement of Success

Success will be demonstrated through the delivery of a clear transformation roadmap, successful implementation and adoption of Dynamics 365, measurable operational and financial benefits, improved customer experience and greater use of data, automation and digital technology across the organisation.

Person Specification

• Proven experience leading technology, digital or business transformation within a complex organisation.
• Strong experience delivering Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations transformation, including implementation, integration, optimisation and adoption.
• Track record of delivering technology-enabled operational and commercial improvements with measurable benefits.
• Experience across enterprise applications, data, automation, digital platforms and systems integration.
• Strong understanding of operating model and process transformation.
• Commercially focused, with experience developing business cases and delivering measurable return on investment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the credibility to work with senior executives and operational leaders.
• Experience leading complex programmes and multidisciplinary transformation teams.
• Strong understanding of organisational change, adoption and benefits realisation.
• Pragmatic approach to emerging technologies, including AI, with a focus on genuine business value.

The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
