An established and successful specialist sheet metal fabrication and installation business operating predominantly within the retail and shopfitting sector, with a current turnover of approximately £3m. The business delivers bespoke metalwork and fabrication solutions to a strong customer base across the retail, commercial interiors and shopfitting markets. Recently acquired by a larger, established joinery manufacturing and installation group, the business is entering an exciting new phase of development, with the backing and resources of a larger organisation while retaining its specialist identity and entrepreneurial culture.

Following the recent departure of the Managing Director, we are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager / General Manager to take full responsibility for the business and report directly to the new owner.

• Full autonomy to run the business and make key operational and commercial decisions.

• Responsibility for the overall performance, profitability and growth of the company.

• Lead and develop the production, project management, installation and wider team.

• Take ownership of customer relationships, operational delivery and commercial performance.

• Identify and deliver opportunities to improve efficiency, margins and profitability.

• Develop the business, its people and customer base to deliver sustainable growth.

• Work closely with the new owner and leverage the resources and capabilities of the wider group.
